how every time i fly home for breaks, my mom or dad always calls me the day of frantically asking me what kind of food they need to buy or pick up or make for me that i want to eat the moment i arrive at home. usually it's chinese because i miss chinese food oh so much and it's the first thing i want at home. so tonight's food when i go home is homecooked won ton mian since it'll be cold up north and at night. yum!

hehe. hours and hours before i get home tonight...yay! it doesn't feel like thanksgiving because it's still sunny as heck here in so cal  can't wait can't wait to spend time with my family!!! friends too of course. i know it'll be a good few days at home. i haven't been home since middle of september...two weeks before school started. how much things have changed since then over the past two months!

hope everyone was a wonderful and great thanksgiving break at home!!!!  happy holidays!

xanga seems to be not as fun anymore. i used to use this thing all the time, but now its just whenever. last time i wrote was...middle of summer. boy how much things have changed or been going on since then!!

what happened in the summer after my last post:

week long cruise to nassau bahamas, coco cay, key west florida and miami. was a really fun cruise with my family. good times i wish i could go back and enjoy the scenery and food hehe

enjoyed my time at home....spending time with my favorite friends and family .

back in riverside....senior year.. weird to be telling people that i'm a senior and graduating in a few months. very weird. but i like senior year-new school year which is alrite, new roomies who are fun, new nice two story house, new having a car, new easy relaxing paying job. been trying to study hard to stay on top of school work and not slack off or get senioritis...but also having fun.....went to san diego, la a few times to eat, club or hang out (and see vince vaughn heehehe), oc to eat and hang out, rowland to eat. disneyland. VEGASSSSSSS! which was my first time and lot of fun with my friends, eating and dancing and sightseeing and enjoying the privileges of being 21. i so want to go back to vegas now!!!

three day weekend this weekend.... and....
thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. you really known you've grown and  matured when you can be away from home for 10 weeks or so and you not even notice how time is going by and how you miss your fam. i remember freshman year, each day a  month before thanksgiving i was counting down each slow long day till i could go home. now its just like, oh, thanksgiving? in a few days? wow that was fast because time went by so fast.

okay that's my update for now. maybe i'll update again after the holidays.

summer summer summer...(some pictures included =P)

so my internship at the capitol has ended. great experience. met interesting people. gained a good amount of knowledge. very glad i chose to do this over the summer. there is definitely a distinct difference between visiting the capitol and actually working there. i'm glad i got to see the other side

after my trip to SF end of july, a few days later, friends and i went to san luis obsipo! thanks to grace for being such a hospitable host! slo is a really cool place to be, just because it's such a peaceful and calm town.

hehe cute sign huh? we toured around the campus a bit.

feesh, ariel and nick at cayucos early in the morning.
(p.s. notice how i got my name in the sand in this pic too!)

our last meal together before we left for sac at yanagi's (yup of course we pick sushi for our last place to eat. what is it with us sacramentans and sushi? we can never get enough of it)

the next morning after i got back from slo i went to SF (2nd weekend in a row) sat & sun with my family...chinatown for a baby red egg party, and to visit uncles, auntie, cousin, ngeen ngeen. also did some shopping downtown and such.

wong sibs walking around chinatown being fobs.

and saw this cutie cousin, jonathan who is going to kindergarden in the fall!

weekend after, went down south with my family to move into my new room at the house. it sure was hot in rs. yuck. then went out to LA to eat dinner and bar at night with friends.

marisa, jeff, me, adrian, ed. i don't know why adrian is putting my lemon drop glass in my face for?

aaron, me, janet.

more pictures shall be posted on facebook....another time in the future.

okay so anyway, no more recent pictures as of late. i've just been doing the normal stuff around town...dimsum, fujis (just went today, i no longer have the stomach to stuff myself sick anymore! sniff), state fair (went yesterday, typical same as every year, but i still had fun!), dinners with friends, shopping, elk grove too many times a week either for errands or kickbacks or eating, saw rush hour 3 (which i actually thought was pretty funny), and such. i love summer and i love being twenty one in the summer. it's GREAT. hehe.

going to the BAHAMASSSSSSSS next week! leaving for miami sunday morning for a 5 day/4 night cruise! its gonna be fun!

San Franciscoooo

So I went to SF the other day, and had a great time !  It was nice to get out of Sac for a bit. I drove without getting into an accident, so as my friend said, if I could drive in downtown SF, i could drive anywhere. Let's hope so when I bring my car to so cal...! Anyway, did some usual touristy stuff...Ferry Building, walked around the Wharf, Pier 39, Japantown (I bought a really cute Hello Kitty key fob thingy and Hello Kitty air freshener), and near Golden Gate. But...probably the best part was.....GIANTS GAMEEEEEEEEEEEE. Because, Barry Bonds hit home run number 754! It was a great game, good plays, everything. And just the fact that we were there when Bonds hit it, was awesome!!!!

Next trip this week.....San Luis Obispo!!!!
And back to SF this weekend!
